Berry Picking

We started the night with $1 tacos and chips and salsa.  I'm embarrassed to say Ross brought the ketchup for the tacos.  (I did not partake.)  His family puts ketchup on everything!

Anyway. Leah doesn't so much eat as just play around the table the entire time.  I don't know how she survives, with the lack of food that is in her body.  Some meals she eats and eats and eats.  I guess she makes up for the days of not eating.

Then we headed south to The Berry Patch.  It was BEAUTIFUL, and so much fun.  I highly recommend it.  Especially in the evening.  The kids got really into picking the berries, and we came home with I think 6 pounds of berries.  It's 2.85/lb fyi.  I can't say enough how much we all loved doing this.

I wasn't very helpful in the berry picking.  I just took pictures the whole time.

Will's Graduation

A few weekends ago (before we went to Portland) we went to Manhattan for Will's Highschool graduation.  We decided to set up a little campfire the night before and roast some hot dogs and marshmallows.  I'm really excited to do more of that this summer.

Some notes:  Ethan turns every stick/rock/play food item that slightly resembles a gun and turns it into one.  I don't know what the deal is!  It's kind of funny.   Maybe a little disturbing?

Both the kids had a healthy respect/fear of the fire.  That was good.

Sam and Will are good uncles.

Throwing rocks in the water could keep Ethan entertained for a looong time.

I'm glad my family only lives 2 hours away.  That makes little trips like this easy to do.

I like my family.  We eat good food.
