BIG NEWS

So I think that the very few people that might read this blog probably already know this. However, I wanted to make a GRAND announcement!! We're pregnant! I'm due March 1st. We're really excited. I'm also nervous. But mostly excited.

So, what do you think? Should we induce on February 29th?

congratulations! that's fantastic news! your dad let the cat out of the bag when i was talking to him last week...i wasn't sure if he was supposed to or not so i didn't want to say anything.

our son was due on feb 29th...ended up coming early on the 19th. leap year birthdays are very cool every four years, but sometimes frustrating on the other 3 in between (says a friend whose sister has a leap year b-day).

in any case, yippee!! let us know if we can do anything to help. =]

Thanks! Yeah, I've heard mixed things.. My aunt has a leap year birthday, and she says that she loves it. Everyone always remembers your birthday, and when it is a leap year it's such a big deal! So, I really don't know. We'll see.

I say, get 'er done early. So then your baby will be young longer. Treasure those wonder years.

I know I told you this in person but congrats!! I am just discovering your blog too--glad we can hear more updates now! A leap day baby would be exciting, I'm thinking. Definitely more exciting than earth day (me) canada day (Ryan), flag day (my dad), but probably at par with the day Star Wars came out, which was the day our twins were born, oh and Darth Vader's too!!

haha! Yeah, leap year day or premier of Star wars... I can't decide what's more exciting!

Congratulations Lauren!!! That is so exciting. Simone was due March 14th and came the 11th. It's a good time to be pregnant...during the winter months. And my vote is to induce! What a cool birthday to have! One year you could have your bday in Feb. and then the next you could choose March. How fun :)

Congrats! I am so excited for you. I do believe that I too heard your dad talking about it at Becky's wedding, but none the less it is still fantastic. Its funny I had heard that however your mom's pregnancy's went that is how yours will go too, and in our case with Gwen it was totally true. My mom always went into labor earlier than the date she was given, we were due on March 8th and I had Gwen on Feb. 24th. That worked out great for me.

I hope that you are feeling well and best of luck. feel free to ask of you have any questions. I know that you probably have a million running around in your head.

And I am excited to hear if you are going yo find out what you are having. It should be really soon.

Wow, Congratulations Lauren and Ross! I haven't read your blog in a while (we've been out of town) and look what I've missed! Our best friends are due with their first baby on March 1st as well and I have 3 other family/friends due at that time as well... crazy! How have you been feeling?

Thanks everyone! Emily- I've been feeling surprisingly well. I don't know why I've been so lucky.

Oh, and Emily- I tried to track down your blog again recently, and I can't remember what it's called, and I don't have it written down anywhere! Would you send me another message in facebook or something?
