I'm 19 1/2 weeks and today we had our ultrasound! It didn't take long to figure out that it's a boy! Ross started grinning from ear to ear the moment she said that it's a baby boy. I'm really excited too. I still can't believe it. Looking at that screen made it so real. He actually looks like a baby! I only have the one picture of the ultrasound- Ross took the rest to work. And here is a picture of me as well. Ross is always home late and we forget about taking a picture, so I decided to take matters into my own hands. My belly is starting to look nice and round now. Before it just looked like the result of poor eating habits and no exercise.

You look so great! I am here to give you the first hand that boys really are so much fun! Considering that we just got into the boy business I have to say that you are in for a real treat. I am so excited for the both of you.
Oh and I love your hair cut.
Holy wow! Have you thought of a name yet?
Aww, yay! I am so excited for you and Ross- boys are absolutely wonderful! After nannying girls for years and having a baby boy first myself, I'd take a boy 1st anyday. haha. Have you picked out a name yet?
Making the blanket is super easy. You need three and a half yards (I used 7 different fabrics so half a yeard each). Then for each half yard, cut two 3 inch ( we will call A and B) strips and two 6 inch strips (C and D). Now it gets hard to explain. Put the same fabric strips and same size back to back. Now get 2 other matching fabric strips back to back and sew with half inch seam. Repeat until the blanket is done. Sew half inch seam around edges. Then cut on the seams to create the rag effect. Hope this makes sense!
Congratulations Lauren and Ross! I had no idea you guys were pregnant. I had no idea that you guys had a blog! That's so awesome!
