Reality Is...

A half emptied box of wipes:

A sink full of dirty dishes:

A baby high chair waiting to be cleaned post- lunch:

A little girl who can't keep her
hands out of my make-up drawer.
Also, a bathroom that is still purple:

A laundry basket that needs to be put away. (At least it is folded.):

A forever emptied bucket o' cars:

And 'Thomas' underwear that is doing NOTHING
to entice an almost 3 yr old boy to start potting training.

But this makes it all better:

Good thing it's nap time.... I could really use some shut-eye.

I love this post! I can totally relate. Isn't chocolate a lifesaver?
I can't believe how big your kids are getting!

Great post! I am embarrassed to admit the number of chocolate chips I have eaten the past few weeks. I'm impressed that your laundry is folded. :)

I think this is a great idea. You do realize that until this post I saw you as never having anything out of place in your home and always so on top of things that you were constantly looking for new things to try just to pass the excess time.

I will tell you that honestly
I enjoyed seeing that I am not alone in not getting the laundry put away all the time. You make me laugh.
